Uforiya is for music creators. This policy explains clearly and honestly what information we collect when you use the platform, how we use it and what control you have over it. We have no interest in misusing your data and we will never sell it.

1. Information we collect

When you create an account and use Uforiya, we collect information you give us directly:

Your name, email address and username
Your creator type and profile photo if you add one
Audio files, project names and track metadata you upload
Messages you send us when you reach out for support

We also collect some information automatically as you use the platform:

Basic log data such as your IP address and browser type
How you use the app, including which features you access and actions you take
Device information such as your operating system

2. How we use your information

We use what we collect to run and improve Uforiya. Specifically:

To create and manage your account
To process your subscription and send billing receipts
To send notifications such as collaboration invites and platform updates
To respond to your support requests
To understand how the platform is being used so we can make it better
To detect and prevent abuse or security issues

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

3. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Audio files and project content are protected behind authenticated, time-limited links and are never publicly accessible without your explicit permission. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and strict access controls across the platform.

If you set a project or track to private, only you and the collaborators you invite can access it. We enforce this at the server level, not just the interface level.

4. Third-party services

To operate Uforiya we work with a small number of trusted third-party services. Each handles data only as needed to perform their function:

Authentication and database storage
Audio file storage and delivery
Payment processing via Stripe
Transactional email delivery

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only your name and email address from Google to create your account. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive or any other Google services. You can also sign up with just an email address if you prefer.

6. Your rights and controls

You are in control of your data. You can:

Update your profile and account information at any time from your settings
Delete your account, which triggers permanent removal of your data within 90 days
Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Ask us to correct any inaccurate information

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your content and personal information are soft-deleted immediately and permanently removed within 90 days. We do not hold on to data longer than necessary.

8. Updates to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy we will let you know by email or through a notice in the app before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Uforiya after that point means you accept the updated policy.
